Erin + Jeep = 1 Happy 5 Year Old!

Erin's childhood dream has come true.... she finally got the Barbie Jeep she has been wanting since age 2...

Very proud Birthday Girl! And it has a real radio in it!

She is actually a very good driver!

Off to "neverland" apparently!

Happy 5th Birthday Erin! 7/29/09

Last night we just did "Uphoff" family party, her actual birthday party with family & friends will be this Sunday.

Balloons!
Cookie Cake (yummy!)

Making wishes... blowing out candles!

Got an LED light to attach to her books so she can read in bed like her Dad!

New High School Musical Hat (gotta love Troy)

Going...Going...Gone.

So Miss Ashley is doing the "weird" crawling thing... she has been so close for a while now. However earlier this week she has crawled a few times. Here was one of the times I documented that occurance! Regardless she is mobile, she gets whatever she wants to get!

Off I go...

Mom get out of my way...

on the move...

" really Mom stop taking my picture"

"well if your going to be that way, I am just going to sit and laugh at you!"

Creating Memories!

My dear friend Abby was home from TX this past week so we got together for a "girls night out" with her sisters & friends. I made a platter that I thought would be cute for the girls to use on their B-days! It turned out pretty cute if I do say so myself!

Erin almost 5, Ashley 8 months

If you notice she has a sippey cup in one hand and a teething biscuit in the other, she hides them like "no their mine" and based on that look she is very concerned someone is going to take either... hmm makes me wonder if kids at the daycare steal her food or maybe she is going to have a sharing issue (laughing)

Erin's mouth stuffed full with oreo's!

Michigan 2009

Although "vacation" time is pretty limited this year because I used all my time for Maternity Leave, we managed to sneak up to Michigan in June this year for a little family vacation. It was lovely but cooler than we are use to. Then again this whole Summer has been cooler than normal. Also I thought I lost my camera while fishing one day, so not too many pictures were taken and we thought the ones I had taken were gone. However come to find out, camera not lost but just in Ed's backpack...we found it 2 weeks after being home from vacation. So below are a few shots taken at the beginning of the trip!

Miss Ashley just chewing on her hand (imagine that!)

Miss Big Blue Eyes!

This is Ed's idea of relaxation even on vacation....

Ashley watching sister play in the Lake

Burrrrr that water is much colder than you realize!

Erin braving the coldness

Trailing through the woods....

Swing, swing, swing

Erin & Daddy's favorite spot!
